1. Who is responsible
The company in charge of your information is BookRivieraDriver, operated by [COMPANY NAME — TO BE COMPLETED], registered in France under SIRET [SIRET — TO BE COMPLETED], with its business address at [REGISTERED ADDRESS — TO BE COMPLETED]. You can reach us by email at aliev.vtc@gmail.com or by phone / WhatsApp at +33 7 64 22 10 10.
2. What we collect
We only collect the information we need to answer you and operate the transfer:
- When you use the contact form: your first name, last name, email address, subject and message.
- When you request a booking: your pickup and drop-off locations, date, time, passenger count, luggage details and any special instructions you share.
- When you call or message us: the phone number you use and the content of the messages you send (including SMS and WhatsApp).
- Technical records: our servers keep a short log of visits (your IP address, the time of the visit and the page requested) so we can diagnose errors and protect the website from abuse.
We do not use visitor-tracking tools, advertising pixels, or any form of behavioural profiling on this website.
3. Why we use this information
Your information is used for four clear purposes:
- Answering your enquiries, so we can provide a meaningful reply to what you asked. (This is part of the steps that lead to a possible contract.)
- Organising and confirming your transfer, so the chauffeur can meet you at the agreed time and place. (This is the performance of the transport contract itself.)
- Meeting our legal duties, such as accounting, invoicing and responding to requests from the competent authorities.
- Protecting the website, for example by limiting the rate of submissions and blocking spam. (This is a legitimate interest in keeping the service safe and reliable.)
4. Who else sees your information
We never sell your information. It is only shared with:
- Resend (an email-delivery provider based in the United States), which sends us the messages submitted through the contact form. The transfer of data to the United States is covered by the European Commission's approved contractual safeguards (see section 5 below).
- Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited), which powers the routing and place-lookup features that estimate your fare. Only the pickup and drop-off points you type are sent to Google.
- Our hosting provider [HOSTING PROVIDER — TO BE COMPLETED], which runs the servers and keeps the application logs.
- The chauffeur assigned to your transfer, who receives the minimum operational details needed to carry out the pickup.
5. Information leaving the European Union
Resend processes email traffic in the United States. For any information that leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on contractual safeguards approved by the European Commission. These safeguards require the recipient to apply a level of protection equivalent to European rules.
6. How long we keep things
- Contact-form exchanges: up to 12 months after the last message.
- Booking records: for the duration of the transfer, then archived for up to 5 years to meet French accounting and civil-liability obligations.
- Server security logs: up to 12 months.
- Your cookie-banner choice: kept in your browser's local memory until you clear your site data or change your choice.
7. Your rights
European data-protection law gives you the right to:
- Ask to see the information we hold about you.
- Have inaccurate information corrected.
- Ask for your information to be erased (“right to be forgotten”) when the legal conditions for erasure apply.
- Ask us to limit how we use your information in certain situations.
- Object at any time when we rely on the “legitimate interest” basis.
- Receive your information in a portable, machine-readable format.
- File a complaint with the French data-protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
To exercise any of these rights, email us at aliev.vtc@gmail.com. We reply within one month, with a possible extension of two additional months for more complex requests, in line with European rules.
8. Cookies
We only use strictly necessary storage items, listed plainly in the Cookie Policy. No analytics or advertising cookies are placed on this site.
9. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the service, in our providers, or in the applicable law. The “last updated” date at the top of the page always tells you which version is in force. Any material change is signalled on the home page for a reasonable period.
